Returns and Cancellation

You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. 

You need to notify us by email at sales@tmethermometers.com of your wish to cancel your order within this time period.

You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return the goods.

Cancellation prior to despatch

A full refund will be made within 14 days of TME receiving your request to cancel the order.

Cancellation/Returns after goods have been despatched/delivered

Unwanted goods – We will request that you return the item(s) to us. The items must be unused and in their original packaging. The items must be received within the 14 days of your intended returns notification. A refund of the full cost of the items returned to us will be made within 14 days of TME receiving the returned items.

Please note TM Electronics (UK) Limited will not refund original or return carriage charges for unwanted goods.

You are advised to obtain proof of postage or tracking details for the items returned as we will not accept responsibility for any returns that are lost in return transit.

 

DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEMS

Please Note: All TME instruments are warranted for two years against manufacturing defects.

We do not, however, offer a warranty with regards to probes

Your statutory rights are not affected

Within 30 days of Delivery

If items are faulty or damaged upon delivery, please notify us by phone +44 (0) 1903 700651 or email sales@tmethermometers.com within 30 days of receipt.

We will request that you return the item(s) to us within the 30 days for evaluation. You have the right to choose between replacements or a full refund. Please retain proof of your return carriage charge as a refund of basic return carriage charges will be made.

Nothing in these terms affect your statutory rights.

After 30 days and Up to 6 Months from Delivery

We will request that you return the item(s) to us within a reasonable time frame for evaluation. Please obtain proof of postage/tracking information and proof of carriage costs.

Evaluation Results –

If the item is deemed faulty due to a manufacturing default we will despatch replacements within 7 to 10 working days. Please retain proof of your return carriage charge as a refund of basic return carriage charges will be made.

If the item has been evaluated to have been mishandled, not used according to its intended purpose or deliberately damaged, we will contact you within 4 to 7 working days to advise and discuss a chargeable replacement. Note – return carriage costs will not be refunded in such cases.
